World Banking Forum workshops are a series of small, invitation-only gatherings held in different countries.
While they serve as a research space for shaping the programme of the annual conference, they’ve become much more than that. They bring together professionals from banks for genuine, peer-level conversations.
The format is informal, but focused. With only one stage and a few keynote speeches, main focus and value of the concept is a small group of people around the table - hands-on practitioners, discussing real challenges, sharing approaches, and learning from each other.
What makes these meetings valuable is the openness.
In this kind of setting, people speak honestly about what’s working, and what isn’t.
As a result attendees leave with a clearer sense of where the industry is going,
what others are doing, and how they might adapt it in their own work.
In essence, these are rare moments of calm in a fast-moving sector — where real thinking and meaningful dialogue of like-minded peers take place.
